Gold prices in Pakistan edged lower on Saturday after posting a sharp increase a day earlier, with the price of one tola falling by Rs. 100 to Rs. 460,236.

According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also declined by Rs. 85 to Rs. 394,578.

Gold had gained Rs. 6,900 per tola on Friday, taking its price to Rs. 460,336.

In the international market, gold slipped by $1 to $4,377 per ounce.

Silver prices also declined during Saturday’s trading. The price of one tola fell by Rs. 69 to Rs. 7,100.
