Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Friday, with the price of one tola dropping by Rs. 5,600 as international gold prices also declined.
According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold fell to Rs. 456,736 per tola.
The price of 10 grams also decreased by Rs. 4,801 to Rs. 391,577.
Gold had closed at Rs. 462,336 per tola on Thursday after declining by Rs. 600 during the day.
In the international market, gold fell by $56 to $4,342 per ounce.
Silver prices also moved lower in Pakistan, declining by Rs. 253 to Rs. 6,871 per tola.
