Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Thursday, reversing part of the previous day’s strong increase as international gold rates also declined.
The price of gold dropped Rs. 3,800 per tola to Rs. 453,436, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs. 3,257 to Rs. 388,749.
On Wednesday, gold had gained Rs. 7,900 per tola, reaching Rs. 457,236.
In the international market, gold fell $38 to $4,309 per ounce.
Silver prices also declined, falling Rs. 73 to Rs. 6,869 per tola.
