Gold prices increased in Pakistan on Saturday, tracking gains in the international market and ending the week on a stronger note.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,100 per tola to Rs. 433,536.
The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs. 943, reaching Rs. 371,687.
The latest increase follows Friday’s gain of Rs. 1,400 per tola, when gold closed at Rs. 432,436.
In the global market, spot gold advanced by $11 to settle at $4,111 per ounce, supporting the rise in domestic prices.
Meanwhile, silver also moved higher, gaining Rs. 30 per tola to close at Rs. 6,462.
