Gold prices in Pakistan jumped Rs. 6,900 per tola on Friday, following a sharp increase in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold reached Rs. 460,336 per tola.

The price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs. 5,914 to Rs. 394,663.

In the international market, gold rose $69 to $4,378 per ounce.

Silver prices also increased by Rs. 300 per tola to Rs. 7,169.

Gold had fallen Rs. 3,800 per tola in the previous session to Rs. 453,436.
