Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend, marking the third decline within five days across both domestic and global bullion markets.

In the international market, gold prices dropped by $38 per ounce, bringing the rate down to $4,576 per ounce.

Locally, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 3,800 to settle at Rs. 479,962. The rate for 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs. 3,257, reaching Rs. 411,490.

Gold had previously been priced at Rs. 483,762 per tola on Saturday and Rs. 483,962 per tola on Thursday, reflecting continued volatility in recent trading sessions.

Meanwhile, silver prices also moved lower, decreasing by Rs. 100 to close at Rs. 7,914 per tola.
