The government has increased the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs. 1.91 per litre while keeping petrol prices unchanged for October 24 to 26, 2026.
According to a Petroleum Division press release issued on Friday, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products under the government’s pricing mechanism.
The price of high-speed diesel has risen from Rs. 391.75 to Rs. 393.66 per litre, while petrol remains unchanged at Rs. 377.71 per litre.
The revised prices will remain in effect for three days, from October 24 to October 26, 2026.
OGRA attributed the adjustment to changes in international market conditions, including Platts rates, premiums, and other costs.
The latest revision follows Thursday’s fuel price adjustment, when the government increased diesel prices by Rs. 1.64 per litre and reduced petrol prices by Rs. 1.60 per litre.
