A dual-taxation dispute involving Allied Materials, the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has been resolved following government intervention.

Two meetings were held on May 19 and June 16, 2026, with senior representatives of Allied Materials, SRB and FBR to address the issue.

The meetings brought the company and the two tax authorities together to resolve the dispute through mutual consultation.

Syed Feisal Ali, director of Allied Materials, appreciated the intervention and said the company’s first engagement with the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to resolve the matter was positive.

He said the council helped facilitate direct communication between the company and government departments over regulatory and taxation issues.

The matter involved a dual-taxation issue between Allied Materials, SRB and FBR.
