Agritech Limited has restarted urea production after Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) restored gas supplies to its fertilizer plant.

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on August 17, Agritech said its gas supply had been restored, enabling the urea plant to resume operations.

The latest production halt began on July 18, when SNGPL suspended re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) supplies to the facility following a government decision amid disruptions in RLNG availability linked to the regional situation.

Agritech has faced multiple gas-related shutdowns this year. In March, the company suspended urea production after SNGPL stopped RLNG supplies following a potential force majeure event declared by an LNG supplier amid the Middle East conflict.

The gas supply was subsequently restored, allowing Agritech to restart production.
