Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) is set to elect its new Central Executive Committee (CEC) on September 17.
According to P@SHA data, 548 members are eligible to vote, while 17 candidates are contesting the elections.
Members will elect 10 CEC representatives for a two-year term. Seven seats will be filled from the corporate category and three from the associate category, with two seats reserved for women.
The newly elected CEC members will later choose the Chairman, Senior Vice Chairman and Vice Chairman of P@SHA.
Former P@SHA chairmen Dr. Shaoib Khan and Muhammad Zohaib Khan are among the candidates contesting for CEC positions.
The elections are being held amid leadership challenges faced by the association in recent months.
The new leadership will take charge at a crucial time for Pakistan’s IT sector, with the government targeting $10 billion in IT exports by FY2030.
