The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved the export of donkey meat and hides from the Gwadar Free Zone, subject to conditions proposed by the Ministry of National Food Security and Research.

The decision came after the ECC reviewed recommendations from a committee formed to resolve issues related to the export of donkey meat and hides from the free zone.

The committee also approved the continuation of gas supplies to FatimaFert and Agritech until September 30, 2026, under the current arrangement.

In another decision, the ECC approved Rs5 billion in seed funding for the Daanish Schools Authority Fund through a technical supplementary grant. The money will be placed under an endowment framework.

The ECC also reviewed the Pakistan Skills Impact Bond and directed the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training to provide a detailed progress report by September 30, 2026.
