The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sharply reduced liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices for the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) systems.

For SNGPL, OGRA cut the LNG price by $6.81 per million British thermal units (MMBtu), bringing it down to $19.03 per MMBtu from $25.84.

The reduction for SNGPL stands at 26.36%.

For SSGC, the LNG price has been reduced by $6.95 per MMBtu, taking the rate to $18.13 from $25.08 per MMBtu.

This represents a 27.71% reduction in the LNG price for the SSGC system.

OGRA issued the revised prices through a notification dated August 28, 2026, following its review of LNG prices for both gas distribution systems.

The new rates replace the previously notified prices of $25.84 per MMBtu for SNGPL and $25.08 per MMBtu for SSGC.
