Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Friday, tracking gains in the international market, with the price of one tola increasing by Rs3,000 to reach Rs430,436.
According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs2,572, reaching Rs369,029.
The latest increase followed a Rs1,000 per tola rise recorded on Thursday, when gold was priced at Rs427,436.
In the global market, gold gained $30 to reach $4,080 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher, increasing by Rs79 per tola to reach Rs6,294.
