Gold prices in Pakistan moved higher on Monday, tracking gains in the international bullion market.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by Rs300 per tola to reach Rs424,536.

The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs258, settling at Rs363,971.

The latest increase comes after gold gained Rs2,400 per tola on Saturday, when the local price climbed to Rs424,236.

In the international market, gold advanced by $3 to $4,021 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices also posted strong gains. The price of silver rose by Rs107 per tola, taking it to Rs6,177.
