Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Tuesday, tracking a notable downturn in international bullion markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 10,400, bringing it down to Rs. 432,236. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs. 9,360, settling at Rs. 368,985.
This decline comes just a day after prices had moved upward by Rs. 4,643 per tola, closing Monday at Rs. 442,636.
In the global market, gold also came under pressure, falling by $104 per ounce to settle at $4,098.
Silver prices also weakened during the session, with the per tola rate dropping by Rs. 487 to Rs. 6,664.
