The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to keep its field offices operational over the weekend as part of special arrangements to accelerate tax and duty collection ahead of the end of the fiscal year.

According to an official notification issued on Friday, all field formations will observe normal working hours on June 27 and 28, 2026, despite the days falling on Saturday and Sunday.

In addition, the FBR has instructed its offices to continue working with extended hours on June 29 and 30, 2026, to help meet revenue targets before the financial year closes.

The directive applies to all major tax offices across the country, including Large Taxpayer Offices (LTOs), Medium Taxpayer Offices (MTOs), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs).

The move is aimed at ensuring maximum tax collection during the final days of the fiscal year.
