The Capital Development Authority (Capital Development Authority) has launched a rapid internal exercise to update complete staffing records across its departments, seeking details of sanctioned posts and existing vacancies from BPS-01 to BPS-16.
In a circular issued by the Human Resource Development Directorate and marked “most urgent,” all concerned formations have been instructed to submit the required information within 48 hours. Departments have been directed to provide the data in a prescribed format, duly verified by the relevant Deputy Director or Director before submission.
The directive has been sent to more than 100 offices across the authority, including key wings such as engineering, planning, environment, health services, estate management, enforcement, water supply, finance, legal, and municipal operations.
Officials said the purpose of the exercise is to compile an updated, consolidated record of approved posts and assess the current staffing position against sanctioned strength. The review will help identify vacant positions and manpower shortages across different departments.
Sources added that the data will support future administrative planning, including recruitment decisions, transfers, promotions, budget planning, and potential restructuring within the organization.
