Fresh court documents in the United Kingdom have reportedly made a series of serious allegations involving former boxing world champion Amir Khan, including claims that he secretly recorded explicit footage of a British-Pakistani woman without her consent.

The allegations form part of a legal defence submitted by women’s rights activist Faryaal Hussain in a defamation case filed against her by Amir Khan and his wife, Faryal Makhdoom. Hussain maintains that her earlier public statements were accurate and made in the public interest.

According to the court filings, a woman identified as “Woman B” claims she was contacted by Khan via social media in 2022 and later travelled to Dubai, where she alleges the two engaged in consensual relations on multiple occasions.

However, the documents further allege that during one encounter, Khan recorded intimate footage on his phone without her knowledge or consent. The filing states that the woman objected upon realizing she was being filmed and attempted to cover her face.

The court papers also claim that after the relationship ended, the woman was allegedly threatened with the release of private material in an attempt to silence her. It is further alleged that pressure was exerted directly and through intermediaries.

Additional claims in the defence include allegations involving other women, as well as accusations of intimidation and efforts to prevent them from speaking publicly. Hussain has also submitted audio recordings, which she says support her version of events.

Khan and Makhdoom have strongly denied all allegations, calling them false and defamatory. Their legal team says the claims will be vigorously challenged in court and argues that Hussain’s statements have caused reputational and financial damage.

The case remains before the High Court, and no final judgment has been issued on any of the allegations.
