Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a slight decline on Friday, mirroring weakness in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs500 to settle at Rs474,862 in the local market.
Similarly, the rate of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs429, reaching Rs407,117 during the day.
Earlier in the week, gold had also seen sharp volatility, with the per-tola price falling by Rs2,400 on Tuesday to Rs475,362, reflecting continued fluctuations in global markets.
In the international market, gold slipped by $5, trading at $4,525 per ounce, with an additional $20 premium.
Silver prices also moved downward, declining by Rs83 per tola to Rs8,034.
