Tariq Glass Industries Limited has obtained land for a new production facility in the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park Special Economic Zone (QABP-SEZ) in Sheikhupura, advancing its expansion strategy into higher-value glass manufacturing.

In a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company confirmed that the QABP Authority has approved the allocation of approximately 10.41 acres of land for the planned project.

The upcoming facility will focus on producing value-added glass and related products, enabling the company to expand beyond traditional offerings and strengthen its position in higher-margin segments of the industry.

Company officials said the project is part of a broader strategy to enhance production capacity, diversify its product range, and increase its presence in specialized glass markets.

Following the land approval, the company will proceed with regulatory approvals, infrastructure planning, and development work required to bring the facility into operation.

Founded in 1978 and listed in 1980, Tariq Glass is one of Pakistan’s major glass manufacturers, producing a wide range of products including glass containers, opal tableware, and float glass.

The new plant will be developed inside a special economic zone, allowing the company to benefit from investment incentives such as tax relief and duty exemptions aimed at promoting industrial growth and exports in Pakistan.
