The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has officially announced the sighting of the Zil Hajj moon, confirming that the first day of Zil Hajj 1447 AH will fall on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Following the announcement, Eid ul Azha in Pakistan will be observed on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, corresponding to 10 Zil Hajj.

The committee made the confirmation after reviewing both scientific data and verified moon sighting reports from across the country.

Meanwhile, the Day of Arafah, observed on 9 Zil Hajj, will fall on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, a day before Eid ul Azha.
