A high-profile accused drug trafficker, identified as Anmol alias “Pinky,” was presented before a Karachi court without handcuffs, drawing public attention and raising questions over the manner in which she was escorted.
Reports suggest that the accused was brought into the courtroom under close supervision, with the investigating officer following closely behind as she entered the premises in a manner described by observers as unusually relaxed and protocol-like. The appearance quickly sparked debate over law enforcement handling of a suspect facing serious narcotics charges.
Sources further claimed that during custody, the accused had expressed confidence that she would be released soon.
The suspect was arrested during an intelligence-based operation conducted by Garden Police on information provided by security agencies. Officials had described her as a key figure allegedly involved in large-scale drug trafficking operations across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
Authorities stated that she was apprehended along with an alleged mobile drug laboratory and a functioning cocaine processing setup. Police also claimed to have recovered around one kilogram of semi-processed cocaine, more than 15 prepared capsules, and various chemical substances including ketamine, ephedrine, methamphetamine, and lidocaine, along with a pistol.
Investigators further alleged that the network was producing high-value variants of cocaine, reportedly marketed under names such as “White Coke” and “Golden Coke,” which were said to command significantly higher prices in underground markets.
Additional items, including bottles of locally produced premium-style red wine, were also reportedly recovered during the raid.
The latest court appearance has shifted public attention from the arrest operation itself to the procedural handling of the accused, prompting further scrutiny of enforcement protocols in high-profile narcotics cases.
