MACPAC Films Limited (PSX: MACFL) has officially launched commercial production using its newly acquired advanced Thermal Extrusion Coating Machine, the company announced in a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday.

This development marks a significant milestone for the company, following its earlier announcement on January 13, 2025, regarding the acquisition of this state-of-the-art equipment. The new production line represents a key step in MACPAC’s strategic plan to expand its portfolio of value-added products.

Already established as a pioneer in BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) and CPP (Cast Polypropylene) films in Pakistan, MACPAC is now positioning itself at the forefront of thermal extrusion coating technology in the country.

“The successful deployment of this advanced Thermal Extrusion Coating Machine further underscores the Company’s commitment to innovation, technological advancement, and market development,” the company stated in its filing.
