The Pakistani government has held talks with representatives of two British universities to explore potential academic partnerships with local educational institutions.

A delegation led by The Millennium Universal College (TMUC) chief Faisal Mushtaq visited the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) in Islamabad. The delegation included Professor Anthony Woodman of the University of Hertfordshire and Professor Lyndsay Duthie of the University for the Creative Arts.

The discussions focused on possible collaboration between Pakistani and British institutions, including academic cooperation, institutional links and the exchange of expertise.

The University of Hertfordshire offers programs across multiple disciplines, while the University for the Creative Arts specializes in subjects such as architecture, fashion, graphic design, fine art, photography, film and media.

The meeting explored opportunities to expand international cooperation in higher education. However, no specific agreements, new programs or funding commitments were announced in the statement.

The discussions form part of efforts to strengthen connections between Pakistan’s education sector and international universities.
