Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory on Thursday, reflecting increases in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs. 1,800, reaching a record high of Rs. 320,800.
The price for 10 grams of gold also saw a significant increase, selling at Rs275,034 after gaining Rs1,543, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). This follows a previous surge on Wednesday, when the yellow metal was priced at Rs319,000 in Pakistan.
Internationally, gold prices also climbed on Thursday, with the rate reaching $3,050 per ounce, including a premium of $20, marking an increase of $12 during the day.
In contrast, the price of silver experienced a decline, dropping by Rs31 to settle at Rs3,524.
