Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant increase on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs. 2,300 per tola. The All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that 24-karat gold was sold at Rs. 282,800 per tola, up from Rs. 280,500 on the previous trading day.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 1,971, reaching Rs. 242,455 from Rs. 240,484. The price of 10-gram 22-karat gold also rose, selling at Rs. 222,250 compared to Rs. 220,443.

In contrast, silver prices remained stable, with per tola and 10-gram silver prices holding steady at Rs. 3,450 and Rs. 2,957.81, respectively.

The increase in domestic gold prices aligns with a rise in the international market, where gold prices climbed by $23, reaching $2,716 from $2,693, according to the Association.
