The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three suspected human traffickers in separate operations in Sargodha over alleged overseas employment scams.

According to FIA Sargodha Circle Deputy Director Ehsan Ali Hani Bajwa, Saima Jabeen was arrested in connection with FIR No. 92/2025 for allegedly collecting Rs2.4 million from four of her relatives after falsely promising to secure jobs for them in Portugal.

In another operation, FIA arrested Muhammad Akmal for allegedly defrauding his friends of Rs1 million by offering fake employment opportunities in Saudi Arabia.

The third suspect, Ameer Akber Miana, was taken into custody for allegedly obtaining Rs848,000 from three relatives on the pretext of arranging Umrah travel to Saudi Arabia.

The FIA said further investigation and legal proceedings against the suspects are underway.
