US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said he held a meeting with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, where both sides discussed regional stability and future cooperation.

In a statement shared on social media, Rubio noted that he appreciated Pakistan’s continued efforts in supporting peace initiatives in the Middle East. He added that both countries recognize the importance of deepening bilateral engagement to enhance security cooperation and promote economic prosperity.

The discussions also reflected a mutual interest in strengthening long-term strategic ties between Washington and Islamabad, particularly in areas linked to regional peace and stability.
