Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded sharply on Tuesday after a rise in international bullion rates reversed the previous day’s losses.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs4,600, reaching Rs476,362.

The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs3,944 to settle at Rs408,403.

A day earlier, gold had declined by Rs4,400, closing at Rs471,762 per tola.

In the global market, gold gained $46, climbing to $4,540 per ounce, which supported the upward trend in local prices.

Silver prices also moved higher, increasing by Rs94 per tola to settle at Rs8,153 on Tuesday.
