Pakistan’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves increased by $27 million during the week ended October 2, 2026, according to the latest data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The country’s total reserves reached $26.797 billion as of October 2, compared with $26.770 billion a week earlier.
SBP-held reserves rose by $15 million to $21.454 billion from $21.439 billion in the previous week.
Reserves held by commercial banks also increased by $12 million to $5.344 billion during the week.
Based on the current level of SBP-held foreign exchange reserves, Pakistan has import cover of around 3.04 months.
