The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has introduced the Pasban Remittance Reward Scheme for beneficiaries receiving overseas remittances through formal banking channels.
The scheme offers Rs. 16 billion in cash prizes every year, including 2,400 prizes of Rs. 10 lac in each quarterly draw. Here is how beneficiaries can qualify and earn entries.
Who can participate?
A beneficiary must receive a home remittance equivalent to at least $100 every month for three consecutive months within a quarter.
The money must be received into a bank account through formal banking channels.
Receiving $100 or more in each of the three months makes the beneficiary eligible for the relevant quarterly draw.
How do you get entries?
The scheme uses digital entry numbers based on the amount of remittance received.
A qualifying remittance equivalent to $100 earns one entry for that month.
Higher remittance amounts earn additional entries in proportion to the amount received.
For example, a beneficiary receiving $100 in one month, $200 in the next and $300 in the third month would receive six entries in total.

The entries are digital and non-transferable.
How much money can you win?
Each quarterly draw will distribute 2,521 prizes worth Rs. 4 billion.

The Rs. 10 lac prize alone will have 2,400 winners every quarter. Across four quarterly draws, that means 9,600 beneficiaries can receive Rs. 10 lac each during a year.
The overall annual prize pool is Rs. 16 billion, with more than 10,000 winners.
When will the draws take place?
The draws will be held every quarter.
The first draw is scheduled for January 15, 2027, covering eligible remittances received from October 1 to December 31, 2026.
The draw process will be fully digital and auditable.
Which remittance regions are included?
The quarterly prize allocation will cover major remittance regions as follows:

The first prize will be open to beneficiaries receiving remittances from all regions.
Is there any fee to participate?
No. Participation in the Pasban scheme is free.
Eligible beneficiaries will not need to pay a fee, purchase a ticket, maintain a minimum balance, or make any other payment to enter the draw.
Where will draw results be published?
The results will be announced on the scheme’s dedicated webpage, as well as through the official websites and social media accounts of participating banks and the Pakistan Banks Association.
To qualify, beneficiaries should receive at least $100 in each of three consecutive months through a bank account during the relevant quarter.
