Federal Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari has said the newly announced defense agreement between Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia will serve as a powerful deterrent, asserting that no country would risk attacking any of the three nations after the pact.

Speaking on the significance of the agreement, Leghari said the strategic partnership is a source of pride for Pakistan and marks a major step toward strengthening regional security, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).

He said the three countries have combined economic strength, military capability and a shared resolve to defend their sovereignty, adding that closer cooperation would reinforce peace and discourage potential aggression.

The minister said the agreement reflects a common commitment to peaceful collaboration while ensuring that Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia stand together in protecting each other’s security and national interests.

Leghari also said the partnership would help safeguard the holy mosques in Saudi Arabia and described the trilateral cooperation as a “steel wall” against any external threat.

Congratulating the people of all three countries, he said the agreement represents an important milestone in enhancing collective defense and strengthening deterrence across the region.
