The Pakistani rupee continued its winning run against the US Dollar on Friday, gaining three paisas to close at 277.32 in the interbank market.

It was the rupee’s 238th consecutive trading day of gains against the US Dollar. The streak has continued since December 25, 2025.

The rupee also strengthened against the British Pound and Euro during the day, gaining Rs. 1.11 and Rs. 1.02, respectively.

Against the Australian Dollar, the rupee gained Rs. 1.21, while it strengthened by 58 paisas against the Canadian Dollar.

The rupee also gained one paisa against both the UAE Dirham and Saudi Riyal.

Against the US Dollar, the rupee closed at 277.3228 on Friday compared with 277.3522 a day earlier, reflecting a gain of 0.0294.

The Euro fell to 321.7083 from 322.7271, while the British Pound declined to 374.6353 from 375.7429.

The Australian Dollar dropped to 198.8127 from 200.0264, while the Canadian Dollar fell to 200.2837 from 200.8707.

The UAE Dirham eased to 75.5020 from 75.5173, while the Saudi Riyal declined to 73.8543 from 73.8660.
