The federal government has announced a significant reduction in petroleum product prices, with fuel rates lowered sharply in the latest review.

Petrol price has been reduced by Rs. 74 per litre, while high-speed diesel has been cut by Rs. 67 per litre.

Following the revision, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs. 299.78 per litre, down from Rs. 373.78. Similarly, diesel will now cost Rs. 311.56 per litre, compared to the previous rate of Rs. 378.56.

An official notification from the Petroleum Division was issued shortly after the announcement confirming the updated prices.

The new fuel rates will take effect from 12:00 AM on June 20, 2026.

This latest adjustment comes after a smaller cut last week, when petrol was reduced by Rs. 4 per litre and diesel by Rs. 2 per litre.

Earlier on June 12, petrol had been priced at Rs. 373.78 per litre, while diesel stood at Rs. 378.56 per litre before the latest reduction.
