Pakistan will start dispatching nearly 34.5 tonnes of mangoes to 76 international destinations from July 2 under the Prime Minister Mango Diplomacy 2026 initiative, according to official documents issued by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan.

The documents show that 34,480 kilograms of mangoes, packed in 6,896 boxes of five kilograms each, will be sent on behalf of the prime minister to heads of state, governments and dignitaries.

The consignments will be handled by MG Agri Foods (Pvt.) Ltd., a Khanewal-based mango exporter, while Al Raaziq International (Pvt.) Ltd. has been appointed as the freight forwarding agent.

Among the largest allocations, Saudi Arabia is set to receive 3,500 kilograms, followed by Türkiye with 2,250 kilograms. The United Kingdom and China will each receive 2,000 kilograms, while Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have been allocated 1,500 kilograms each.

Other notable consignments include Bahrain with 1,375 kilograms, the United States with 1,250 kilograms, and Kuwait and Oman with 1,000 kilograms each. Iran has been allocated 875 kilograms, while Kazakhstan is set to receive 800 kilograms.

TDAP has directed the Department of Plant Protection, airport managers, customs authorities and the Anti-Narcotics Force to make the necessary arrangements for the diplomatic shipments. It has also asked relevant officials to share the contact details of designated focal persons to ensure smooth coordination.

According to the documents, the bulk of the consignments may be dispatched through Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, Multan International Airport and Islamabad International Airport, subject to confirmation of flight schedules.

The official correspondence states that the shipments are of “No Commercial Value” and are being sent solely for diplomatic and promotional purposes by the Government of Pakistan.
