Pakistan’s leading mobile network operators, including Jazz, Zong, Ufone, and Telenor, have significantly increased the prices of several call and internet packages over the past year, with some bundles becoming as much as 33 percent more expensive.

The latest tariff data published by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) reveals updated prices for the top 15 subscriber-wise hybrid (call and data) and data-only bundles offered by all four operators. The comparison shows that annual price increases on certain packages have reached up to 33 percent.

Monthly hybrid bundles have seen some of the largest hikes, with prices increasing by as much as Rs. 500, while selected 15-day packages now cost up to Rs. 300 more than a year ago.

Weekly hybrid bundles have become up to Rs. 130 more expensive. Prices of three-day packages have increased by up to Rs. 21, two-day bundles by up to Rs. 20, while one-day hybrid packages have recorded increases of up to Rs. 5.

PTA said it has revamped the Consumer Awareness section of its website to improve tariff transparency and help users track changes in mobile package prices more easily.

The updated portal provides package-wise quarterly prices, annual percentage changes, validity periods, and details of the incentives included in each bundle. According to the regulator, the initiative is aimed at helping consumers compare available offers and make informed choices.

PTA has advised mobile users to regularly check its Consumer Awareness portal and the official websites of telecom operators for the latest package prices and tariff trends, saying the move is part of its broader effort to strengthen consumer protection and transparency in Pakistan’s telecom sector.
