U.S. President Donald Trump has rejected reports that talks between the United States and Iran were suspended, insisting that diplomatic engagement is continuing without interruption.
In a post on Truth Social, President Trump said media claims of a pause in negotiations were “false and erroneous,” adding that discussions with Iran have taken place repeatedly over recent days, including “four days ago, three days ago, two days ago, one day ago, and today.”
His statement came after reports from Iranian sources suggesting that Tehran had suspended or paused engagement with Washington, raising uncertainty over the status of ongoing indirect talks.
Trump dismissed those reports, maintaining that communication between the two sides remains active and continuous.
He reiterated that he had urged Iran to reach an agreement, saying a deal is necessary after decades of strained relations, and added that talks could lead in different directions but are still ongoing.
