The government has postponed the meeting of the Annual Plan Coordination Committee (APCC), a key step in finalizing the development framework for Budget 2026-27.

The Planning Commission had earlier scheduled the APCC session for May 20 to approve the proposed development outlay and finalize allocations under the upcoming Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP). However, officials confirmed that the meeting will now take place on a later date, which will be announced separately.

The APCC meeting plays a central role in the federal budget process, as it reviews national development priorities and clears the development budget before its inclusion in the annual budget presentation.
