Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs13,410 to reach Rs374,205.
This comes after Thursday’s session, when gold was priced at Rs452,963 per tola following a decline of Rs2,300.
In the global market, gold also saw a notable fall, slipping by $149 to $4,156 per ounce, with an additional $20 premium factored in.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved downward, decreasing by Rs413 per tola to settle at Rs6,946.
The overall trend reflects continued volatility in precious metals as global market pressure weighs on local pricing.
