Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Friday, trimming earlier gains after a slight dip in global bullion rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 1,469 to settle at Rs. 467,816.
The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs. 1,323, reaching Rs. 401,012.
This comes after gold had increased by Rs. 1,523 on Thursday, closing at Rs. 469,285 per tola.
In the international market, gold prices eased by $14 to settle at $4,453 per ounce, prompting a downward adjustment in local rates.
Silver also remained under pressure, declining by Rs. 67 per tola to close at Rs. 7,730 on Friday.
