Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday, tracking a downward trend in the international market.
According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 2,300 to reach Rs. 452,963 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs. 2,070, settling at Rs. 387,615.
A day earlier, gold had increased by Rs. 100 per tola, reaching Rs. 455,236.
In the global market, gold prices decreased by $23 per ounce to $4,305, while an additional premium of $20 was recorded.
Silver prices also moved downward, falling by Rs. 144 per tola to Rs. 7,359 in the local market.
