Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Saturday, with the price of one tola dropping Rs15,100 as international gold rates also declined.
According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold fell to Rs467,936 per tola.
The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs12,946 to Rs401,179.
The sharp local decline came as gold prices dropped in the international market. Global gold fell $151 to $4,454 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Gold prices had remained unchanged in Pakistan on Friday.
Silver prices also declined on Saturday. The price of silver fell Rs397 to Rs7,112 per tola.
