Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Tuesday, with the per-tola rate increasing by Rs2,400 to Rs459,736, as international bullion prices also moved higher.
According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs2,050 to Rs394,149.
The latest increase follows a Rs800 rise in the domestic gold price on Monday, when the per-tola rate settled at Rs457,336.
In the international market, gold gained $24 to reach $4,373 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices also moved higher in Pakistan, rising Rs62 to Rs6,965 per tola.
