Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Saturday, tracking a slight drop in international bullion markets.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 500 per tola to Rs. 459,936.

The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs. 429, settling at Rs. 394,320.

The latest decline follows Thursday’s sharp correction, when the per tola price dropped by Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 460,436.

In the international market, gold slipped by $5 per ounce to $4,375, including a $20 premium, contributing to the softer trend in domestic prices.

Meanwhile, silver bucked the trend, with its price increasing by Rs. 13 per tola to Rs. 6,949 in the local market.
