Pakistan’s gold prices fell sharply on Tuesday, mirroring losses in the international bullion market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 4,100 to Rs. 424,836.
The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs. 3,515, settling at Rs. 364,228.
The latest decline comes a day after gold lost Rs. 2,300 per tola, when the price had closed at Rs. 428,936 on Monday.
In the global market, gold prices fell by $41 to $4,024 per ounce, including a $20 premium, contributing to the decline in domestic rates.
Meanwhile, silver moved in the opposite direction, with its price rising by Rs. 25 to Rs. 6,349 per tola.
