Gold prices declined for a third consecutive day in Pakistan, tracking losses in the international bullion market following a continued downward trend since Monday.

In global trading, gold prices fell by $21 per ounce, bringing the international rate down to $4,555 per ounce.

The decline was reflected in local markets, where the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 2,100, settling at Rs. 477,862.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 1,801, reaching Rs. 409,689.

A day earlier, gold prices had already fallen sharply, closing at Rs. 479,962 per tola after a single-day decline of Rs. 3,800.

Silver prices also moved lower, with per tola rates decreasing by Rs. 65 to settle at Rs. 7,849 in the domestic market.
