Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Saturday, tracking losses in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold fell by Rs. 1,000 per tola to Rs. 431,236. The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs. 730 to Rs. 369,715.
The latest decline follows a sharp correction earlier this week, when gold prices had plunged by Rs. 10,400 per tola on June 23.
In the international market, gold slipped by $10 to $4,088 per ounce, including a $20 premium, contributing to the decline in local prices.
Silver prices also moved lower, with the rate falling by Rs. 271 per tola to Rs. 6,393.
