Foreign investors repatriated $2.255 billion in profits and dividends from Pakistan during fiscal year 2025-26, marking a 1.6 percent increase compared to the previous fiscal year.

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) data showed profit and dividend repatriation rose from $2.219 billion in FY25 to $2.255 billion in FY26.

In June 2026 alone, foreign companies repatriated $151.4 million, up 32.6 percent year-on-year and 211 percent higher than the amount recorded in May.

Among sectors, the financial sector recorded the highest profit outflows at $534.5 million during FY26, followed by the power sector with $507.7 million.

The food sector ranked third, with foreign investors repatriating $200.5 million in profits and dividends over the fiscal year.
