The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has connected 13,454 Tier-I retailers, textile and leather retailers, and restaurants to its Point of Sale (POS) system as of July 1, 2026, as part of efforts to digitally record sales transactions.

Official data shows these registered businesses collectively operate 37,122 branches and outlets that have been integrated with the POS network.

Among them, 11,798 Tier-I retailers have been enrolled, with 24,687 branches linked to the system.

The FBR has also registered 1,093 restaurants, covering 1,716 integrated branches.

In addition, 563 textile and leather retailers have joined the POS regime, with their 10,719 branches now connected to the FBR’s digital transaction monitoring system.
