Easypaisa has dismissed reports that it has imposed a 2% charge on transfers made from bank accounts to Easypaisa wallets.

A source at Easypaisa told RBN that customers are not charged for receiving money into their Easypaisa accounts, and this service will continue to remain free.

The clarification follows claims circulating online that Easypaisa had introduced a 2% service fee on bank-to-wallet transactions, potentially increasing the cost for customers moving funds from their bank accounts.

Easypaisa said the reported 2% charge does not apply to incoming transfers and urged users to verify any information about its pricing or fees through the company’s official channels.

The clarification means customers using bank-to-wallet transfers to fund their Easypaisa accounts will continue to receive the money without an additional 2% charge.
